This country house, built in colonial style, lies in a palmgrove in the south of Sri Lanka and is located directly at the sea. Guests encounter delightful surroundings and a special nostalgic flair. The large open-air courtyard offers access to the beautiful botanical garden and a pavillon, which is surrounded by four shaded terraces (arranged on Feng-Shui-principles). Villa Samsara offers four bedrooms, which differ in their unique styles. All rooms measure about 40 sqm and are equipped with shower, WC, fan and mosquito nets. The rooms and especially the pavillon invite to relaxind and enjoying the spectacular view of the coast and the green palmgrove.

On all terraces and in the dining hall delicious sea food, local, Asian and Chinese meals are served on supplemental costs. Some romantic bays are in walking distance. Guests can easily take transfers to the famous Walli-Walla and Mirissa beaches or simply join guided tours to cultural monuments and national parks. Of course the vacation villa itself offers a variety of activities like biking, fishing, diving etc. (due to weather conditions swimming may be restricted in the months of May/June/July). The tropical island of Sri Lanka lies off the coast of the Indian subcontinent. The island offers a large number of exotic experiences on a comparatively small terrain. The variety of vegetation reaches from marshes on the southern and western coast, dry savannah in the north and northeast, and a small piece of desert on the peninsula of Jaffna to large salt lakes in the southeast of the island. The extended beaches are protected by coral reefs, sandbanks and lagunas, and numerous beautiful bays are waiting for guests to swim and relax. Plateaus and canyons, mountain tops and rolling hills, overgrown with tea shrubs, make one of Asia's most beautiful landscapes out of the central highlands. Sri Lanka's fauna is impressive, too: there is a great number of peacocks, herons, deer and monkeys living on the island, and in february and march, even blue whales, pot whales and dolphins come close to the coast. Visiting an elephant camp is certainly worthwhile, as one can ride on elephants there and will learn a lot about them.
