This modern and light-flooded vacation villa, held in the Mediterranean style, enjoys an extraordinary position on the waterfront of the Chiemsee. Just a small service road separates the grounds from the lakeshore with ample sunbathing areas. The terraces offer splendid views of the lake with a back drop of the majestic Alps. The villas design pleases high expectations with tasteful decoration and modern amenities, such as the beautiful tiled floors on the ground floor or the x-large screen Sat-TV/DVD in the living room. For the colder months there is a central heating system and the tiled stove creates a cosy ambience.
In the nearby village of Gstadt one will find most water sport facilities offered at the lakeside, including boat tours to the idyllic islands of Frauenchiemsee and Herrenchiemsee. The cities of Salzburg, Kufstein and Munich are easily accessible by both car and train within 30 - 45 minutes and thus they invite to make interesting day tours and to visit the theatres. For winter sports and also for biking and trekking this holiday home is an ideal base, because grand Kitzbühl and many other renowned regions are close. Typical Bavarian Inns and very good restaurants are found in the surrounding villages. Please notice that the house is not very convenient for small children, because of the "split-level" architecture!

Upper Bavaria is famous in the whole world — as the land of castles and lakes, of beer and "Gemütlichkeit". Well-known sights like the fairy-tale castle of Neuschwanstein, the Chiemsee with it's two islands and the castle of Herrenchiemsee and, last but not least, the Oktoberfest, attract visitors from all around the world. But those who take their time can discover even more. Whether it is a boat trip on the Starnberger See and a visit to the Buchheim Museum, a walking-tour to the monastery of Andechs with stop at the famous beer garden or enjoying the view of the Tegernsee valley from the mountain Wallberg - Bavaria has a lot to offer. There are numerous activities for families, for example luging at the Blomberg mountain, several deer parks and zoos or water parks like the Alpamare in Bad Tölz. Bavaria's capital, Munich, is well worth seeing. The famous Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady), the City Hall with it's carillon, the former king's palace or the artist and nightlife district of Schwabing are waiting to be discovered. And after exhausting sighseeing and shopping tours, the English Garden with it's large meadows and beautiful beer gardens is the perfect place to relax under the famous Bavarian blue and white sky.
