La Novellina is a well-appointed, recently restored farmhouse with a magical position in the heart of the Chianti region between Florence and Sienna. It is part of a 30 ha. `Fattoria`, on which a particularly good olive oil is produced. The farm`s own products are available for direct sale. When the house was restored, particular attention was taken to retain the existing building fabric by using original materials. The house is furnished tastefully with some selected antiques in the style typical to the area. The large kitchen is especially cosy with its Tuscan wood stove.
A separate apartment in the neighboring house offers comfortable living for 2 persons. The owner lives on a separate property about 15 m away. The swimming pool has been totally renewed in 2009 and it is set in panoramic position, offering stunning view of the scenic landscape all the way to the towers of San Gimignano. The town of Certaldo, which has a public swimming pool and tennis courts, is 10 km away. This holiday home is the ideal starting point to explore the fabulous Tuscan countryside.
