Villa Mondrago is situated in an exclusive residential area in the center of the village of Cala dOr. Set in 2,500 sqm grounds, the villa is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens filled with pines, palms and colourful Mediterranean flowers and bushes. All the spacious rooms in the two-story house are furnished in typical Majorqueen style, mostly with antiques from the island. From the large terrace that runs the length of the ground floor and faces the sea, there are magnificent views of the bay named Cala D´Or. On the plot of the holiday domicile, there are several more cosy terraces, surrounded by flowers and trees. Due to the unproteced terrace and the sloping grounds we advise, that this property is less appropriate for families with smaller children.
The sea can be reached by a little path, layed out with natural stones, through the garden. Here is a private platform with steps down to the sea. One can swim ans snorcle here comfortably. The center of Cala dOr village is only a five minute walk away. There, one can find everything, from all types of shops and boutiques, cafes and restaurants to supermarkets, discotheques and doctors. Apart from the wonderfully laid-out 18-hole Valldor golf course, only a ten minutes drive away, there is are plenty possibilities for windsurfers, divers, horse riders and tennis players. The yacht harbour of Cala dOr is one of the most exclusive ones on the island.

Majorca with it's diversity and great number of cultural sights is one of the most interesting islands of the Mediterranean. The north-west with the craggy cliff line is characterised by the beautiful, green landscape of the Tramuntana mountains, which are covered with forests and orchards. In the east, however, there is a mellow landscape with mediterranean vegetation and many small bays which are perfect for families with children. The beach "Es Trenc" in the south reminds of the sand dunes of the island of Sylt. There is a vast choice of sports activities all year round: trekking, mountainbiking, golf, sailing, paragliding and much more. The capital of the island, Palma de Mallorca, is known for it's impressive cathedral. The narrow streets offer a number of shops and galleries. Majorca's nighlife is mainly limited to the adjacencies of Palma.
