This 18th century house, lovingly restored in 1990, is situated in the middle of the Venetian-influenced village Maroulas and overlooks the village church. The owner has successfully combined superb interior furnishings with the original character of this Venetian-style house. Despite the villa´s central location in the village, a four metre high wall surrounding the holiday house makes it possible for guests to have absolute quietness and privacy. The large courtyard, with its fruit trees and lush foliage, dominates the entry area. From here, you continue into the very large, extremely tasteful living room with a fireplace, dining area and open american-style kitchen.
Next to the kitchen there is a bedroom with a small internal terrace. The whole upper level has a teak parquet floor. The spacious double bedroom on the first floor has a magnificent view over the sea. On the ground floor there is a special playing corner for children. There are three tavernas and two typical Greek cafes in the village of Maroulas, food delivery service is possible on request. This vacation villa can also be used in winter as it has efficient (electrical) heating. A pool, which is cleaned biologically, and a jacuzzi is located in the patio. We recommend the rental of a hire car. A chef is available on request.
