The architect Axel Ball has designed this attractive masterpiece of authentic Majorquin construction, as well as the luxurious Hotel La Residencia and other premises. Located about 7 km away from Deya, Casa del Mar is situated directly by the sea in the elegant urbanisation of Lluc Alcari. Built in natural stone, the architect has created a commendable example of a building harmonising perfectly with its surroundings and the environment. Olive and pine trees, fragrant rosemary bushes, colourful flowers and a deep blue sea can be enjoyed whilst having breakfast on the terrace.
Here, the soothing sound of the sea provides all the background music one might need to relax. A gate leads down to a natural beach, where experienced swimmers can enjoy the sea. This beach is also used by the guests of the Hotel La Residencia, and tenants of Casa del Mar are welcome to the beach bar of the La Residencia, where snacks and drinks are served during the day. Casa del Mar has stylish Majorquin furniture. Artistic, traditional and luxurious elements have been skilfully combined to form a harmonious hideaway. The three bedrooms have unique four-poster beds, an adjoining bathroom and a terrace facing the sea. The fully equipped kitchen is partly open to the luxurious living/dining room. Cleaning service on weekdays is included in the rental price and thus one more amenity of this unique holiday domicile.

Majorca with it's diversity and great number of cultural sights is one of the most interesting islands of the Mediterranean. The north-west with the craggy cliff line is characterised by the beautiful, green landscape of the Tramuntana mountains, which are covered with forests and orchards. In the east, however, there is a mellow landscape with mediterranean vegetation and many small bays which are perfect for families with children. The beach "Es Trenc" in the south reminds of the sand dunes of the island of Sylt. There is a vast choice of sports activities all year round: trekking, mountainbiking, golf, sailing, paragliding and much more. The capital of the island, Palma de Mallorca, is known for it's impressive cathedral. The narrow streets offer a number of shops and galleries. Majorca's nighlife is mainly limited to the adjacencies of Palma.
