This charming vacation villa is located in the lakeshore village of Crabbia, 3 km away from Orta town. The premises will fascinate those loving nature, the countryside and a secluded position. There is a beautiful and large garden with flowers and trees surrounding the villa. An old wisteria in the middle of the courtyard, centuries old, welcomes the guests. The owner was addicted to botany and also was a collector of arts. Thus, the villa and the garden attest the sophisticated taste of the owner. The walls are decorated with paintings and antique printings. A vast selection of valuable books is available in the study. A stair hall leads to the first floor surrounded on two sides by a balcony facing into the courtyard.
On this floor there is the living room with fireplace and large French windows offering views of the lake. Next to it is a small but well equipped kitchen with an adjoining breakfast room. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spread throughout the three floors. They are of good standard, held in rustic style. On the other side of the balcony there is the large and beautiful patio with dining table for 10, sofas and armchairs. A path through the garden leads down to the private dock and bathing area at the lake, and it is approximately 10 to 15 minutes walking. Please note that to reach the lake one must cross the road that coasts the Lake Orta. There is a rowing boat available and a ladder helps to reach the lawn when getting out of the lake.
