The property consists of two buildings, the Il Casale with the two apartments Quercia and Mandorlo, first built in 1800, retaining it's original and wonderfully ivy-coloured exterior, and Torre di Guardia, obtained by fully renovating and enlarging a former cottage, itself hewn from the walls of an ancient, thirteenth-century guard tower.
Il Casale features two separate holiday apartments, each with its own entrance, central heating, high-class fittings and furnishings. They will not be rented separately from Torre di Guardia. Relais Antica Dogana`s two houses look out over almost twenty acres of vineyards, olive groves, cypress and fruit trees. The grounds also contain a private swimming pool and hard surface tennis court. Shops and restaurants can be found in Pitigliano. The coast is approximately 55 km away, Lake Bolsena 30 km.
