Villa Giulia is a fine and richly decorated XVIII century villa, set in peaceful grounds amidst the hills near Lucca. Outside, the formal garden with many areas to relax in the shade, includes a swimming pool. The vacation villa is partially air-conditioned and surrounded by 13 ha. of land with vineyard and olive groves owned by the family. This property is an elegant villa with its own Chapel. The villa has been beautifully restored by the actual owner. There are comfortable deck chairs, lounges, and a barbecue. In the Chapel, located just outside the property, is celebrated the mess every Sunday at 9.00 am.
Tennis facilities (5 minutes) and a lake (fishing) is a 15 minutes walk away. Golf courses (18 holes) can be found in Montecatini or Versilia, both 30 minutes away. The house manager, who lives on the estate, provides a daily cleaning service, six days a week and daily breakfast. Although not included, the services of a chef are available for lunch or dinner. Laundry service is also available upon extra charge. Villa Giulia is an excellent example of historic architecture in Lucca. In classic style, it features three floors sleeping up to 14 people. The villa can be rented excluding the two double bedrooms on the ground floor, for a group of 10 people.

Versilia
Bordered by Liguria in the north and Latium in the south, Tuscany boasts 329 km of coastline on the Thyrrenian Sea. The greater part of this coastline consists of long, fine sandy beaches, which make it a popular destination for those loving the sea and sun. One beach of particular note is Forte dei Marmi which is the meeting place of the Italian high society in summer. In July and August the resort is extremely popular because of the influx of visitors.
