El Sitio de la Rosa is situated in a peaceful and tranquil setting on a 5,000 sqm property found on the outskirts of the mountain village El Paso. This former farmhouse has been lavishly extended and restored by the owner with great care, retaining its original style. All the rooms in this hoilday house have attractive terracotta floors and wood-beamed ceilings, which are typical for the island. From the spacious kitchen, one has a glorious view of the lush vegetation in the garden and of the peak of Caldera Mountain. It is an ideal base for hiking lovers to start out on the renowned hiking paths of the island. It takes 25 minutes by car to reach the beaches of Puerto Naos and Charco Verde.
The living room has an open fireplace, stereo unit and television. It is open on one side to the kitchen, which is on a slightly higher level. The kitchen is fully equipped and the large solid wooden dining table offers plenty of space for six guests. The two bedrooms are pleasantly and tastefully furnished. The large bathroom includes a tub, two wash basins and a toilet, and connects to the sauna with an outdoor cooling tub. A rental car is recommended. Please note that smoking is not allowed in this house.
