A rocky outcrop over the Mirabello Gulf is the stupendous position of this fascinating, original east-Cretan style villa. Conceived as the private retreat of an architect, it won a designer´s prize in 1984. This holiday home is perfect for those who wish to be away from any tourist centres, and enjoy the natural surroundings. The extensive living quarters are allocated on three levels. The interior is all one would expect of such a house, furnished with great taste. The pretty, shaded garden is equipped with an outside barbecue for evening meals in the open air, and the balconies and courtyards have comfortable garden furniture.
From this vacation house, one has enchanting views over the Mirabello Gulf. It is a wonderful place to completely relax, and where one is in direct contact with nature. The house can be occupied in winter, as there is oil central heating. There is a small camping ground 200 m away with a mini-market and a taverna, and the next village is 3 km from the villa, where there are shops, cafes and tavernas. We recommend hiring a rental car, that can be picked up from the airport. A chef is available on request.
