Trullo Massimo is located in the Valle dell'Itria in a beautiful landscape full of oaks and olive trees growing in the red-coloured earth. It is a property consisting of various trulli, the famous old round buildings, which have become symbol of Puglia. Constructed with local stones using a special technique without cement, the trullis' interiors keep cool in summer and warm in winter. There are several trulli and other typical local buildings joined together around a courtyard. The interiors have carefully been renovated maintaining the original features. They have an open room lay-out with typical arch doors. The furnishing is tasteful and of high-quality. Five of the trulli have a bedroom and a bath with shower/WC each. In addition, Trullo Massimo has a living room with comfortable sofa and Sat-TV, a spacious dining room as well as a fully-equipped kitchen. The outdoor area of Trullo Massimo is well-kept, the pool with sunloungers is perfect for relaxing. Next to the pool there is a large gazebo with round table for dining outside. The preparation of breakfast is included in the villa's rate, groceries are not included and have to be paid on site. Cooking service in the evening is available on request at extra charge. The lovely baroque town of Martina Franca with shops and restaurants is 10 km away, the sea with sandy beaches is in a distance of 20 km.
