This lovely old finca is located amidst a 13.000 sqm property at the beautiful southeast coast of Majorca, between the towns Alqueria Blanca and Porto Petro. There are more than 300 olive trees, various shrubs and palm trees. Finca Mariposa is a romantic hideaway. In 2009 the holiday home was completely renovated with lots of attention to detail. The finca is tastefully and traditionally furnished with a cottage style and offers a lot of comfort.

Modern technology and the interior were carefully integrated in the old constancy. Air condition is provided in all the bedrooms whereas there is a central oil heating for the cooler months. The spacious outdoors with its vast garden, various canopied terraces, a BBQ area and the large pool with a counterflow construction complete the premium equipment of the finca. Excellent restaurants and different shopping facilities are located in the nearby towns S'Alqueria Blanca, Santanyi and Porto Petro. Only a short drive away one can reach the beautiful sandy beaches of Cala Mondrago and Cala Sanau as well as the golf course Val d'Or.

Majorca with it's diversity and great number of cultural sights is one of the most interesting islands of the Mediterranean. The northwest with the craggy cliff line is characterised by the beautiful, green landscape of the Tramuntana mountains, which are covered with forests and orchards. In the east, however, there is a mellow landscape with mediterranean vegetation and many small bays which are perfect for families with children. The beach "Es Trenc" in the south reminds of the sand dunes of the island of Sylt. There is a vast choice of sports activities all year round: trekking, mountainbiking, golf, sailing, paragliding and much more. On the weekly Majorcan marketsin the villages one can find a great variety of local products. The capital of the island, Palma de Mallorca, is known for it's impressive cathedral.
