The holiday villa Armonia is located above the village of Ageria on the sought-after island of Paros with stunning views of the sister island of Antiparos. The owners have a passion for beauty and extraordinary. Thus, the villa owes it´s grandeur to the spontanious decision of the owners: originally plans for two separate houses were made and constructions had started, when a sudden redesign was decided to build one stunning villa. The property has been designed in a synthesis of traditional and modern techniques drawing upon the simplicity of form and line. The result is a vast and tastefully designed home away from home.
The enchanting simplicity is carried throughout the property. The traditional cement-painted floors with warm colours offer a harmonic resonance to this contemporary space. The sea-facing side of the property is made up of sliding glass doors, so that panoramic views can be enjoyed from nearly every room. The central living space is a huge open plan room with a living area, an adjoining dining area and library with comfortable furnishings throughout. One highlight is the massive marble table supported by two huge stones that provides a dining area for ten. The fully equipped kitchen is modern and it offers a breakfast terrace. There are five bedrooms, all of similar standards and offering en-suite facilities. Four of the bedrooms have double beds and the fifth one has twin beds. One double bedrooms in the main part of the house next to the kitchen; the others are located in the opposite wing of the building, which is joined by a long corridor to the main house. Here, two sofas provide the best place to chill in the entire property with two sliding glass doors opening to the pool deck and the main terrace. Also from the central living space, sliding glass doors lead out to the terrace, offering a huge pergola to rest on column-like pillars and providing many comfortable outside spaces to relax. Central to this outside space there is the swimming pool with 11 x 3 meters in size. The outside facilities comprise of a living area with comfortable sofas, a sun-lounge area and an outside dining area. The property is very private and well protected being surrounded by massive stone walls. A maid comes three times per week, supermarkets and tavernas are within a few minutes driving away. Farangas beach, which is said to be one of the nicest throughout Greece, is just five minutes by car away.
