This beautiful chalet is freestanding and offers fantastic views of the majestic mountain-scenery of Bernese Oberland with Wetterhorn, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Chalet Oberäll is spacious with 230 sqm and is furnished in a modern but cosy style. The four bedrooms all have bathroom ensuite. One can enjoy atmospheric and relaxing hours in the living room with fireplace and piano. There is a whirlpool on the terrace with splendid views onto the sky and the mountains (extra costs 250 CHF/week). In winter four-wheel drive or snow chains are obligatory. The bus stop is conveniently located directly at the house.
The three ski areas of First, Kleine Scheidegg-Männlichen and Mürren-Schilthorn make Grindelwald the biggest ski resort in the Jungfrau Region, with 200 km of slopes of various difficulties – an El Dorado for skiers and snowboarders. Grindelwald also has a lot to offer for those guests who do not want to ski. On more than 80 km of winter footpath one can discover the unspoilt and majestic scenery of the Grindelwald-mountains. The longest toboggan run of the Alps ends at the chalet. And in summer inviting hiking trails commence directly at the house. Around 300 km of prepared walking and hiking trails, cosy and authentic mountain restaurants, UNESCO-world heritage of the Swiss-Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch, golf courses, lakes and various activities - Chalet Bern is a perfect location offering something for everyone all year round, summer and winter.
