The house sits on a hilltop surrounded by 7 hectares of land that is entirely fenced in to afford maximum privacy. Access to the property is by a private asphalt road with two electronic gates. Siena is at 3 kms with all facilities, shops and restaurants. 300 meters from the first entrance gate there is the bus stop with regular service into the centre of Siena, which is ideal for those who want to visit Siena on foot. At less than 1 km are a couple of basic food shops. The property dominates the surrounding countryside and sits on a hill opposite Siena, offering fantastic views. The front of the barn has two circular pillars that are telltale characteristics of its ancient origins. They have been maintained during the careful restoration that has also been directed at using original old bricks to repair the damages time wrought to the brick walls that are so typical of the Sienese region. The house is impeccably furnished in high standard and is quite luminous and comfortable. 

Private ground floor entrance leads into a spacious living/dining room with a high wood beamed ceiling. There are glass panelled doors on two sides of the living room that grant access to two external furnished terraces, private to the barn. The living room wall opposite the main entrance has two staircases: one leads to the first floor and the second leads down. The upper floor has a double bedroom (the bed can be separated into twins on request) with ensuite complete bathroom with bathtub. The bedroom again has a wood beamed ceiling and a door that opens into a study/sitting room. The lower level has spacious, fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom with door to the outside, and a bathroom with shower and Jacuzzi. Separate from the barn is the main farmhouse where the owner and a family of caretakers live. There is a beautiful 7 X 14 meter swimming pool that is shared with the owners. A covered car park between the main farmhouse and the barn offers space for guests. On request, the caretakers are available to provide both maid service and cooking for guests. Children under 10 years of age are not admitted with the exception of infants who are accepted at the owner's discretion according to age. Pets are not allowed.
