The two-storey independant Casa al Campo is situated in the middle of a 5000 sqm Mediterranean garden with olive trees, agaves, roses and a vegetable garden. There are various relaxing areas with comfortable garden furniture. At the villa, with entrance to the living room, there is the terrace of 60 sqm with sitting and dining facilities and a large BBQ. The house has been restored in 2003. On the ground floor is the living room with terracotta floors and French doors that open to the terrace overlooking the garden. A large fireplace makes a romantic atmosphere and a comfortable temperature when the nights become cool.

Through the open round arch one can reach the dining area with a large table for up to 12 persons. On the ground floor there are a the fully equipped kitchen and a single room with shower/WC ensuite. On the upper floor there are two double bedrooms each with tub/WC ensuite, one twin room and a single bedroom with a shared bathroom with tub/WC. Marina di Campo bay has a beautiful sandy beach. It is 1500 m long and the largest of Elba. An easy walk of 800 m leads directly from the villa to the beach. The beautiful town of Marina di Campo is approx. 1 km away. There are all kinds of shops, restaurants and bars. The old fishing village has a small port and picturesque houses. Marina di Campo has a lovely seafront to amble around.

Elba lies about 10 km west from the Etruscan coast and is Italy's third largest island. Deep blue, clear water, white sandy beaches and rocky bays, combined with the evergreen Macchia, Eucalyptus and cork trees make up Elba`s fascination. Numerous charming bathing bays along nearly some 150 km of coast line, washed round by the blue, green or turquoise waters of the sea, are waiting to be discovered. Napoleon never experienced his exile on Elba as a banishment, and during his stay in 1814/15, he set up many panoramic routes, vineyards and historic buildings. Elba's highest mountain, Monte Capanne (1014 m), offers beautiful hiking trails from which one can enjoy magnificent views of the coast line. On a clear day, the view reaches as far as to the surrounding islands, Corse and the Italian mainland.
