Praslin Island‘s newest boutique hotel has been opened 2008 at Anse Kerlan, near to one of the most attractive beaches in the Seychelles. Surrounded by a tropical garden, situated on the northwest of Praslin, one can enjoy a spectacular view of the islands of Cousin, Cousine, Mahé and Silhouette. The Castello Beach Hotel, is the only All-Suite Hotel on the island of Praslin in 4-star quality. The hotel has 26 suites that are situated in two-storied houses. All suites are luxurious, each with private terrace or balcony and with spacious bathroom with shower. The 12 Junior Suites (ca. 44 sqm) are disposed in living and sleeping area. The 11 Family Suites (ca. 54 sqm) have an additional sleeping room with doublebed, ideal for families with children. The Family Maxi Suite (ca. 98 sqm) is a combination of Junior and Family Suite. Set in the beautiful tropical garden, the restaurant overlooks the beach and pool area. Offering breakfast and dinner, the Castello Beach Restaurant features fine international cuisine as well as local Creole specialities. Adjacent to the restaurant and the pool, the bar offers a choice of light lunch as well as a wide selection of drinks, refreshments, cocktails and exotic juices. One can choose between different massages and body treatments at the beauty- and wellnesscentre. There is the Castello Mini Club for children between 4 and 12 years offering indoor and outdoor activities under supervision. Babysitting services are available on request for a fee.
For those who would like to marry at the beach of Praslin the hotel takes care of all aspects. A wedding planer will organize the romantic ceremony including the complete document service. For active holiday makers, there are many sports activities on offer. Such as golf because the hotel is located nearby is the only 18-hole championship golf course in the Seychelles. One can rent mountainbikes as well. Walking and trekking path start at the Hotel and spread throughout the whole Island. The enchanting marine world of the Seychelles ranks among the most beautiful diving sites in the world. Nearby is a diving school. One can experience a sailing cruise on board of the hotel owned catamaran. Deep sea fishing and fishing excursions are also offered. Praslin is connected with the main island of Mahé by a 45-minute ferry service or by a regular 15-minute flight transfer to the International Airport of Mahé.
