Once arrived at the port of Caleta de Sebo by ferry from Lanzarote, it is advisable to visit a supermarkt to shop groceries for a few days. At the urbanisation Pedro Barba with only 18 houses, there are no shops and no restaurants. After the shopping, one will take a taxi to Pedro Barba, because there a no rental cars available on La Graciosa. Casa Pedro offers lots of privacy and tranquillity, away from the stress and hustle. There are solar panels to produce electricity for the refridgerator, the illumination, a radio with CD-player and to charge a note book. No other electric devices are available in the house. The stove and the oven in the kitchen are operated by gas and there are Italian coffee makers. In 2007 Casa Pedro was renovated and extended with another bedroom and two comfortable bathrooms. From three of the bedrooms there is a sea view. Several terraces surround the house and thus one finds sunny and shady places as per preference. A small sandy beach is only some 200 meters away from the house. Another unique beach is 20 minutes walking away. Playa de las Conchas and Playa Francesca are said to be the most beautiful beaches on the Canary islands. They can be reached by taxi. For those who love a challenge hire mountain bikes to visit the various beaches. In summer with a calm seas, one can arrive quicker to Pedro Barba by hiring a speed boat from Orzola directly to Pedro Barba. Besides a short way to Pedro Barba, the groceries are cheaper in Orzola than in Caleta de Sebo. So it is advisable to get stocked in Orzola already. The minimum rental period is one week/ 7 nights.
