Ulusaba is part of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, which is a 66.000 ha privately owned reserve within the greater Kruger National Park. It consists of two lodges. Safari Lodge lies along the banks in the dry Mabrak riverbed. Rock Lodge, situated at the very top of a rocky mountain, offers panoramic views over miles of bush, the wildlife roaming within, all set against a backdrop of the Drakensberg Mountain range far in the distance. Rock Lodge and Safari Lodge can be booked per room or in total for highest exclusivity. There are 10 bedrooms including 4 suites, which are furnished in different style. Depending on ones preferences one can choose between Rock Cliff Rooms, Rock Suite, Master Suite, Makwela Suite and Cliff Lodges.
The Makwela Suites for example are very luxurious, built on two levels with a terrace, outdoor shower, infinity edge pool, private library, internet access and CD-player. Every day there are guided Safaris on offer, traversing an area of 10.000 hectares frequented by lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos and rhinos. The daily safaris, accompanied by a professional field guide and tracker are included in the rental price. In addition different day excursions are offered, for example a trip in a Crocodile Reptile Park or a helicopter trip at a supplemental cost. For people who like to relax, there are beauty treatments or massages. Due to safety children under 6 years cannot participate in the regular game viewing program and Safari walks.
