This house is one of five villas, which lie in a newly developed area slightly below the
monastery of Evangelistria.The beautifully landscaped garden with the private swimming pool positioned on the edge of the hillside, make for some of the most fabulous views of Skopelos harbour to be found. The main entrance of this villa leads to a large, open split-level mezzanine with high wood beamed ceilings and wood floors. The main entrance level comprises 1 twin bedded bedroom and a bathroom with shower/WC. This bedroom has wall to wall wardrobes and double French doors leading to a spacious balcony which looks out upon the pool and to the town in the distance. A few stairs below lies the open plan kitchen/sitting room level. The brightly covered sofas, corner fireplace, large dining table and lots of windows create a comfortable and open space for relaxation. The kitchen is fully equipped and is located for easy serving of outdoor meals. The spacious terrace is reached by two sets of French doors which leave way to stunning views of the harbour, town and the Stafilos Valley. It is fully furnished with outdoor dining table, plenty of seating and a pergola to shade from the afternoon heat.
The next level down comprises the master bedroom suite which is furnished with a king sized bed, spacious wardrobe and bathroom with bathtub/WC ensuite. This roomy bedroom is complete with Sat-TV/music center and personal computer. A set of double French doors open out to breathtaking views and soft sea breezes. The large laundry room with washing machine is also on this level. A few more steps down lead to the bottom floor of the house where there is a 3rd bedroom, comfortably furnished with twin beds, wardrobe and small seating area. From here, the private pool is reached through double French doors. Another large dining table and chairs, complete with a huge sun umbrella is found just outside the bedroom. The spacious pool area has comfortable lounges and is beautifully landscaped with flowers and grassy areas. Shopping facilities you can find in Skopelos town. Car hire is essential.

Skopelos
North-east of Evia between Skiathos and Alonnissos, 60 nautical miles from Volos, lies this green island of the Sporades Group. It owes its name to the alternating cliffs and sandy beaches which encircle the island almost like a garland. The main town, also called Skopelos, enchants its visitors with its lively harbour, its narrow, steep lanes and pretty white houses with their original grey shingle roofs, many of which are still in excellent condition. In the north-west of the island, one finds the picturesque fishing village of Glossa, with its harbour Loutraki. This is the first stop of the ferry that makes its way from Volos and Skiathos. This island of Skopelos is under the special protection of the European and Greek environmental authorities and has therefore remained a true paradise for nature lovers. Here you can still find flora and fauna totally in their natural state. Pine forests reach down to sandy beaches. Getting there: Charter flight to Thessaloniki or Skiathos, high-speed boat.
