This house is one of five villas, which lie in a newly developed area slightly below the
monastery of Evangelistria. The garden with private swimming pool offers one of the most fabulous views of Skopelos harbour to be found. The main entrance of this villa leads to a large, open split-level mezzanine with high wood beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. The main entrance level comprises 1 twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower/WC. This bedroom has double French doors leading to a spacious balcony which looks out upon the pool and to the town in the distance. A few stairs below lies the sitting room level with open plan kitchen with soft green bleached cupboards and pale tiles that lend a warm a pleasant atmosphere to the room. The traditional Skopeliti sofa, carved wooden chairs, the brick corner fireplace along with the houses' yellow and earth tones add to the general country charm of the villa.

The stairs down from the kitchen lead to the middle level of the building where there is the second twin bedroom. This spacious bedroom has windows facing out to fantastic views of the mountains, sea and Skopelos Town. Also found on this middle level is the laundry room with washing machine and extra wardrobe space. The bottom level of the villa comprises the master bedroom and bathroom with bathtub/WC. Double French doors lead to the terrace and the pool. The spacious pool area has comfortable lounges and is beautifully landscaped with flowers and grassy areas. The views are stunning and fantastic sunsets can be watched as the sun sinks slowly behind the hills of the town. Shopping facilities can be found in Skopelos town. Car hire essential.

North-east of Evia between Skiathos and Alonnissos, 60 nautical miles from Volos, lies this green island of the Sporades Group. It owes its name to the alternating cliffs and sandy beaches which encircle the island almost like a garland. The main town, also called Skopelos, enchants its visitors with its lively harbour, its narrow, steep lanes and pretty white houses with their original grey shingle roofs, many of which are still in excellent condition. In the north-west of the island, one finds the picturesque fishing village of Glossa, with its harbour Loutraki. This is the first stop of the ferry that makes its way from Volos and Skiathos. This island of Skopelos is under the special protection of the European and Greek environmental authorities and has therefore remained a true paradise for nature lovers. Here you can still find flora and fauna totally in their natural state. Pine forests reach down to sandy beaches.
