This romantic house with 6,5 ha property is located in a irreclaimable nature protection area. Access is by a 2 km forest track, which leads to a glade, from where one can see the wunderful hilly landscape of Burgund. The rustic house has central heating (gas), whose costs are payed additionally depending on consumption. The eldest part of the house was built in 1780. In 1910 the 2nd part was added. At the ground floor there is one double bedroom with bathroom. The other four bedrooms are in the first floor. One has an integrated bathtub and a separate WC. Two double and single bedrooms share one bathroom and one segregated WC. At the ground floor there are two living rooms. One has a fireplace; in the other there is a billard table. The fully equipped kitchen encourages one to compete with the local fine cuisine.
Behind the house one can find a unique old herbs-, fruit and rose garden. The house is straightened to south, with a large sunny terrace. Underneath the terrace there is a lawn, which ends at the forest. Every room at the ground floor has a door to the garden, where one can relax. There are four cats living on the premises, of which one is tame to the hand. The three other one are mostly not seen. Grocery stores, bakeries and butcher shops are found in the nearby villages of Mesures and in Autun. We encourage to go to the small local weekly markets around - the quality and variety of the products is enchanting . The custodian couple lives in a separate house near the forest, in about 300 m distance to the villa. Daily service, such as cleaning, laundry and cooking, can be arranged upon piror notice ans supplemental cost. Change over day is always on Sunday.
