This holiday villa is a traditional island style house, built in a fenced-in private property of 35,000sqm (only about 2,000 of which is landscaped - the rest is natural) right on the sea and not far from Marmari. The vacation home is a landmark of the area due to its strategic position, its long history, as well as its owner -a renowned Greek actress- who takes personal interest in the well-being of her guests. The holiday house is surrounded by extensive lush gardens with a variety of trees and flowers. A remote-controlled sliding gate opens onto the property (cars may be driven inside) and leads to the house via a short, winding road. Just off the main entrance, there is a shaded parking lot for 2 cars. A hallway leads to a large open-plan split-level area. Right by the entrance there is a guest twin bedroom with ceiling fan and a small WC with shower (no tub). Further along the hallway there is another small WC with shower (no tub) and then an antique, fully equipped, separate-plan kitchen that opens on to the front veranda; the kitchen also has access to a small staff room. On the other side of the entrance hallway there is a corridor leading to the bedrooms: a twin bedroom with iron beds, another twin bedroom with wooden beds and a fireplace and a third, double bedroom - there is also a WC with bathtub.
From the hallway, 2 or 3 steps down there is a spacious lounge area serving as dining and living room, with a table for 8 persons, built-in sitting, a proper lounge suite and imposing fireplace. Large wooden sliding doors lead to the front L-shaped veranda offering wonderful views of Marmari Bay to the left, the sea and the famous islands of Petali in front and the jetty where the villa's private beach is to the right. The veranda has built-in sitting facilities, bamboo-shaded pergolas, stone floor and a large wooden table for al fresco dining. Off the veranda there is a pathway which after about 10 wide steps leads to a small built-in sitting area naturally shaded by trees with view to the jetty and private beach. Another 10 steps further down, there is a jetty suitable for small boat mooring and a permanent construction which can serve as a beach bar, barbecue and shaded sitting or sunbathing area. There is also an exterior shower by the side of it. No more than 30m after this area is the villa's private beach (the property embraces it) with sand and pebbles, clear waters - safe for swimming. At the end of the property towards the North, on a hill by the sea, there is a small Orthodox chapel. The villa owners have a private speed boat suitable for visiting the nearby islands, bays and beaches as well as for skiing and other water sports. The boat is offered on a request basis with a skipper and price is arranged directly on demand.
