This large, newly built holiday house is a stunning and unique combination of modern, tradition, richness and character all rolled into one fantastic villa. As you enter, the feeling of spaciousness and openness is your first impression. The red tiled floors, redish stained open beamed ceilings and wood details all blend to make a warm comfortable look to these generous rooms. Designed for large families and parties the villa offers a roomy, modern kitchen complete with built-in oven, dishwasher and microwave. With a blend of stainless steel appliances and plenitiful stained wood cupboards this well equipped kitchen makes cooking fun and easy. The kitchen is open plan and is next to the dining room which boasts a large wooden dining table and French doors leading out to a terrace that runs the length of the house. Here on the terrace, you find another big wooden table for al-fresco dining. The views from inside and out are dazzling, of whitewashed town houses spilling down to the harbour, views to the sea and the neighbouring island of Alonissos and of gentle olive green hillsides surrounding you. From opposite the dining room there is a sitting area with built-in style sofa and lamp to cozy up with your favourite book. Down a step from this level is a sunken living room, open plan with the rest of the rooms. It is complete with a corner fireplace, again with built-in style sofa and French doors on two sides. One leads to the outdoor dining area and the other leads to the pool. The four bedrooms of Villa Kamares are spacious and comfortable. The only bedroom on the main level of the house is reached by a small hallway just inside the front door.

This double bedroom has open beamed ceilings, large closet space and French doors leading out to the front terrace and a barbeque on the side of the house. Also in the hallway is a w/c shower room, conveniently located right next door to the bedroom as well as for the common use of the upstairs. The rest of the spacious bedrooms are found on the lower level of the house reached by a stairway descending from the dining room. A red-tiled winding stairway leads to a hallway at the bottom. Here one will find three bedrooms, one with two twin beds and the others with double beds. The great feature of this holiday home is that each of these bedrooms have a w/c shower room en-suite. Also, each have French doors leading to the lower level terrace running along the front of the house. Each bedrooms terrace area is furnished with table and chairs and offer a private area to sit out and appreciate the same stunning views as the upper level terrace. Sit under the stone built arches, or `kamares` in Greek, which are the trademark of the house, or a bit further out in the greek summer sun and top up your tan, all just a step outside your private bedroom. Villa Kamares is a newly built house with great attention paid to detail. Everywhere you look there is quality, from its furnishings to its building style, with beautiful stone arches and a well thought out design. The pool area is located at the side of the house and is accessed through the living room French doors. It is surrounded by pretty low stone walls and lush landscaping. There is plenty of opportunity for sunbathing on the abundant loungers or just sitting around and relaxing in the peaceful, privacy of your own pool. Also, there is a large table and chairs for outdoor meals to be enjoyed with lovely views down to the bay below.

North-east of Evia between Skiathos and Alonnissos, 60 nautical miles from Volos, lies this green island of the Sporades Group. It owes its name to the alternating cliffs and sandy beaches which encircle the island almost like a garland. The main town, also called Skopelos, enchants its visitors with its lively harbour, its narrow, steep lanes and pretty white houses with their original grey shingle roofs, many of which are still in excellent condition. In the north-west of the island, one finds the picturesque fishing village of Glossa, with its harbour Loutraki. This is the first stop of the ferry that makes its way from Volos and Skiathos. This island of Skopelos is under the special protection of the European and Greek environmental authorities and has therefore remained a true paradise for nature lovers. Here you can still find flora and fauna totally in their natural state. Pine forests reach down to sandy beaches.
