This comfortable country house was built at the beginning of the 19th century and has been completely renovated in 2004, taking into account the old building fabric. The house has a garden of 2000 sqm in size which is surrounded by a wall and thus guarantees privacy. Here lies the pool as well as the children`s pool and the small bungalow with the fifth bedroom. The wooden beamed ceilings and the pottery and wooden floors give a comfortable and Mediterranean flair to this beautiful vacation villa.
The kitchen is furnished homely and has direct access to the garden and barbecue area. All bedrooms are furnished tastefully with typical Greek iron beds. From the living room, one reaches the inner courtyard with fountain. The beaches of Bali and Panormo are only a few kilometers away. Restaurants and small shops can be found in the village of Melidoni, which is still quite untapped. Supermarkets and banks are located in Perama, which is three kilometers away.

The area around the harbour of Rethymnon City was a place of importance to the Venetians in the middle ages. Today, Rethymnon is one of the most beautiful cities on the north coast of Crete. Its charming medieval and middle-eastern origins are visible in the typical narrow streets, the Venetian and Turkish houses and the slender minarets. The 16th century Venetian-style fortress is also worth visiting. Only 6 km from Rethymnon, reached by a romantic road completely built of old stone, one can discover the Venetian village of Maroulas, with its two wonderful old towers.
