In the middle of the 19th century, this two-storey vacation villa was built in this prominent position by a captain, who was a descendant of the famous Greek pirate family, Revidi. It was bought by its current owner, an architect, in 1974 and restored with a lot of care and respect for history. Nine years later, the owner was awarded the national prize for the best reconstructed townhouse by the Greek Ministry of Culture. In 2002 the island government authorized the owner to build a small pool of 3x6 m in size. After a short walk from the harbour you reach Villa Antonis which, from the outside, resembles a fortress and you are at once captivated by the fascinating view over the Saronic Gulf. To reach the holiday home, one first passes through a many levelled atrium with wonderful trees and flowers.
Here, there are many comfortable spots to sit in absolute peace and to read, or just to dream. Next, one enters the ground floor with a double bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and dining room with a terrace, that will make every meal a memorable occasion. On the first floor there is a large bedroom with a 2m x 2m king-size bed, a seating arrangement adjacent to an open fireplace, a study and also an adjoining bathroom. The courtyard connects to one side of this room, and the balcony to the other.
