Greece is fascinating due to its charming beaches which are perfect for bathing, swimming, snorkelling, surfing or sailing, the diversity of its countless islands and its long cultural tradition. On the other hand, holidays in Greece mean pure relaxation.
The
mainland comprises numerous mountain ranges and is an agriculturally used area. The peninsula of
Chalkidiki with its ”fingers” Kassandra, Sithonia and Athos and the
Peloponnese are particularly interesting for visitors. We offer
rental villas directly at the sea, holiday rentals with pool and
charming design hotels. The
Ionian Islands with
Lefkada, Corfu and
Zakynthos being the best known ones, make up the country´s border to the west.
In the Aegean, there are numerous islands, allocated in small groups: the islands of the northern and eastern Aegean, the
Sporade Islands, the
Cyclades and the
Dodecanes off the Turkish coast as well as
Crete in the south.
24 of the 39
Cyclade islands are inhabited. We offer
luxury villas on Paros and
Mykonos as well as holiday homes at the seaside on
Tinos, Santorini, Syros and
Naxos. Many of our exclusive, luxurious vacation villas are located on
Paros and
Antiparos. These islands are very attractive and untroubled by mass tourism. In the picturesque harbour of Naoussa with its traditional tavernas, one can enjoy fresh fish and seafood. On
Santorini, it is possible to relax amidst black volcano sand.
The
Sporade Islands comprising Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos, have preserved their typical character. Traditional cottages and holiday homes and villas at the seaside can be rented in order to spend an easygoing holiday.
The group of the
Dodecanes includes 12 large and numerous smaller islands, each one with its own character and distinctiveness. For example, on
Patmos, Saint John the Apostle is said to have written the Book of Revelations.
And, finally, there is a group of small islands between Attica and the Peloponnese: the
Saronic Islands. Especially
Hydra and
Spetses are in great demand as traffic is severely restricted. Hydra is completely car-free and has retained its reputation to be a hideaway for artists and intellectuals. We offer a
traditional captain´s house and two luxurious vacation villas with pool on Hydra.
Crete, the birthplace of European culture, is full of contrasts, too. From the beautiful towns of Chania and Rethymnon in the west through to Ierapetra in the Southeast, sandy beaches and craggy cliffs alternate at the coast. A very special holiday home is
Chateau Gournia. Resembling a Moorish-style castle, this villa lies on a cliff close to the archaeological site of Gournia and offers extended views of the sea. Just like the country itself, also its flora is full of shapes and colours. 6000 domestic plant species have been registered, 250 of which in Crete. Green vineyards on sunny hills and olive groves are characteristic for the scenery. Mild winters alternate with tropical, hot summers that are cooled by a northeaster wind called Meltemi. With almost 3000 hours of sunshine per year, Greece is one of the sunniest Mediterranean countries.
