This ample coast area lies in the deep south of Andalusia and is famous for it`s long white sandy beaches bordered by dunes. The beaches are among the most beautiful ones in Spain. The region ows it`s name to the unique light (in Spanish: la luz). The countryside offers everything one expects from Andalusia: white villages, haziendas, horses, flamenco and sherry producing areas. Cádiz, Jerez de la Frontera and Tarifa are just few of the many attractive places to visit.
